Hoddesdon, UK, May 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Illustrator Geoff Harrold has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of figurative and imaginative illustration in black and white and color.

Geoff Harrold has been a professional illustrator for nearly 50 years. Early on, he worked in magazine publishing and journalism where he built a client base that included the BBC and magazine and book publishers through his illustrations. Mr. Harrold's imaginative work has been used for countless outdoor theatrical and industrial health & safety posters, point of sale, editorial, consumer products and direct mail as well as the occasional fantasy comic strip. He utilizes both digital (Photoshop, Illustrator) and traditional (gouache, collage, water colours, pencils and pen and ink) methods of illustration for a variety of genres including children's fiction, science & industry, finance, science fiction, society and marketing. He has been published through alternative media in East and West Africa, North America, Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Harrold is also the creator of the online graphic novel "Code Name Nod: Brain-storming Adventures in Inner Space."

Mr. Harrold received his Bachelor of Arts from Middlesex University in 1975 as an outside candidate after gaining the National Diploma in Design in 1961 while at Hornsey College of Art & Crafts. He is a member of The Association of Illustrators.
