Prof. Farisi has eighteen years of professional experience and six years of experience teaching graphic design, visual communication, and linguistics. His responsibilities include educating college students on typography and motion graphics through pragmatics, discourse analysis, and semiotics methodology. Mr. Farisi also operates a freelance graphic design and visual communications business named Farisi Design in Iran and California.

Mr. Farisi earned his Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University of Fullerton and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from The University of Utah. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Language from Azad University of Tabriz as well as an Associate's Degree in Islamic Arts and Crafts from Iran. Prof. Farisi is affiliated with the American Institute of Graphic Arts and IFP. He volunteers his spare time to the Azerbaijani American Council.
